Apart from visiting some really cool cities, New York City, Montreal and Toronto, I spent the majority of last year writing a book.
My book is about growing food in a place where winter lasts seven long months, AKA my back yard. The first third of the book is all about maximizing the soil, making it healthy so it grows big strong crops. In the the second third I tell you what to plant, how to grow it, harvest it and store it for the long winter. The last third of the book has recipes and ideas for preparing the food you’ve grown for the table.
It’s due to come out in May 2014.
